First Decent worth a bong hit
Finally a flick where I don’t feel like i’m whoring out 10 bucks to some fake celbrity. First Decent was a well put together documentary about snowboarding. They say its about the history of snowboarding, but really its just a snowboarding movie. I liked how they put a lot of info up in this peice. They mentioned ganja giving snowboarding bad press & not being shown after the first gold medalist at the X games tested positive for smoke.
I didnt realize Shaun White and Hannah Teter were getting first time exposure to huge mountain snowboarding in alaska.
I think the type of movie I was more looking for is the classic drunken debotchery, extreeme tricks and rocking music. First Descent actually refrenced “Wisky” as one such pioneering video of this style. I think i’ll check it out.
